Who we are

Information we collect

We aim to collect as little as possible.

• Information you give us. When you contact us by email, WhatsApp, or a contact form, we receive whatever you choose to send — such as your name, email address, and message.
• Analytics data. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. This collects standard technical data such as your approximate location (country/region), device and browser type, pages viewed, and time on site. It uses cookies and similar technologies.
• Code Editor data. Any code you write in our online Code Editor is stored only in your own browser (localStorage). It is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. Clearing your browser data removes it.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and we do not sell your personal data.

How we use information

We use the information above to respond to your enquiries, provide and improve our services and the Code Editor, understand site usage, and maintain security.

Cookies

We use cookies for analytics (Google Analytics). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may work differently if you do. The Code Editor's local storage is not a cookie and is never sent to us.

• Cloudflare (cdnjs) — serves front-end libraries such as the code editor and icons; your browser requests these files directly, which may expose your IP address to that provider.

We keep enquiry messages only as long as needed to respond and maintain our records. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' default retention settings.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email info@hixcode.com and we'll respond as required by applicable law.

Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

International visitors

We operate from Pakistan. If you access the site from elsewhere, your information may be processed in Pakistan or in the countries where our service providers operate.
