These Terms govern your use of hixcode.com and its features, including the online Code Editor (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Code Editor
The Code Editor lets you write and preview HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in your browser. It is provided as a free tool for learning, prototyping, and demonstration.
- Code you write runs in your own browser and is saved locally on your device. We do not store it on our servers.
- You are responsible for the code you write and run. Do not use the Service to create, run, or distribute anything unlawful, malicious, or infringing (for example malware, phishing pages, or content that violates others' rights).
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the site, overload it, scrape it abusively, or use it to harm others.
Intellectual property
The HixCode name, logo, site design, and content are owned by HixCode and protected by applicable law. You keep ownership of the code you write in the Code Editor. You grant us no rights to it, since it never leaves your browser.
Third-party links and libraries
The site links to third-party services (such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Upwork, and Fiverr) and loads third-party libraries. We are not responsible for third-party content, services, or practices.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the Code Editor's output is suitable for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HixCode will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Because code is stored only in your browser, you are responsible for saving or exporting any work you want to keep.
Changes
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
